We’ve received several questions regarding the recent Goldbelt Ancestral Trust distribution. If you believe you may be eligible but did not receive a payment, please review the criteria below.

Goldbelt Ancestral Trust Eligibility

To be recognized as a beneficiary of the Goldbelt Ancestral Trust, individuals must meet specific criteria that honor the intent of the Trust and the legacy of our original shareholders.

To qualify, you must:

• Be a Goldbelt shareholder, and
• Meet one of the following identity-based qualifications:
  • Be an original shareholder of Goldbelt;
  • Be a lineal (blood) descendant: In the context of Goldbelt, lineal descendants refer to individuals who are direct descendants of original Goldbelt shareholders, such as children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
  • Be a Native adoptee, which means:
    • You are a lineal descendant of an original shareholder of Goldbelt Incorporated, and
    • You were legally adopted as a child (before age 18) by an original Goldbelt shareholder or their blood descendant.
    • The adoption must be court-approved.

Additional Notes:

• Only individuals may be beneficiaries of the Trust.
• Beneficial interest in the Trust cannot be sold or transferred.
• Shareholders must have voting shares and a “GAT Eligible” status code on file with Shareholder Services.

How Eligibility Is Determined

Goldbelt Shareholder Services requires official documentation—such as a birth certificate or adoption decree—to confirm lineal descent or adoption. Once verified, your shareholder record will be updated with the appropriate Trust eligibility code.

Didn't Receive a Distribution but Believe You Qualify?

It may be due to missing documentation in your file. Please submit:

• A written explanation of your lineal descent to an original shareholder, and
• Any supporting documents (e.g., birth certificate, adoption records).
