Goldbelt Achieves CMMC Level 2, Major Investment in Security and Customer Trust

Goldbelt and all its subsidiaries have achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2. This is a major milestone in the company’s continued investment in cybersecurity and responsible information protection that positions Goldbelt well as cybersecurity expectations continue to evolve across the federal marketplace.

“This certification underscores the seriousness of Goldbelt’s approach, emulate the gold standard, excellence in everything we do,” said Goldbelt President & CEO McHugh Pierre. “Our customers rely on us to protect sensitive information, and disciplined security practices that allow us to better support the mission-critical work of our country while we create value for our shareholders.”

Goldbelt’s investment places the company among the top 6% of organizations that have taken the necessary steps to meet this level of cybersecurity readiness. Out of approximately 72,000 servers in the relevant marketplace, roughly 4,000 have completed the rigorous steps required for this level of security. All LLCs under Goldbelt’s umbrella have achieved this status, strengthening the company’s ability to serve customers with sensitive information protection needs across many sectors.

“Security and safety are at the forefront of how we operate,” said Goldbelt Chief Information Officer and Goldbelt shareholder Ben Johnson. “Achieving CMMC Level 2 demonstrates Goldbelt’s commitment to protecting sensitive information and maintaining the trust our customers place in us.”

For Goldbelt, achieving CMMC Level 2 demonstrates Goldbelt’s commitment to protecting Controlled Unclassified Information and supporting the Department of Defense (DOD) cybersecurity requirements. This achievement reinforces Goldbelt’s position as a trusted partner for federal customers and reflects companywide commitment to strategically expanding our portfolio to grow shareholders benefits and program.
