The future of our communities is built over generations, and participation helps shape what comes next. Alaska Native voices have long played an important role in advancing Native values and interests in our communities. Goldbelt encourages shareholders, families and community members in Juneau to make a plan to have their voices heard and to consider how candidates and ballot measures align with Goldbelt initiatives and values, including strong communities, responsible stewardship and opportunities for future generations. 

The 2026 City and Borough of Juneau Regular Municipal Election runs through Oct. 6. Ballots were mailed to registered Juneau voters in good standing at the mailing address on file with the Alaska Division of Elections. 

Voters may return their ballot by mail, use a secure drop box, or vote in person at a vote center. 

Secure drop boxes are available 24/7 through 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026.
