What is the Haa Latseen Scholarships Program?
The Haa Latseen Scholarships Program is distributed through the Goldbelt Tináa Distribution Trust. This program supports shareholders in their pursuit of educational and personal development goals, providing financial assistance for educational expenses from age 3 to graduate students and lifelong learners.
What types of scholarships are available?
1. Higher Education Scholarship
This scholarship is for Goldbelt shareholders currently enrolled in college or any higher education institution. It helps fund your studies for the term(s) you are applying for, so you can focus on your education. Goldbelt encourages students to apply for the term(s) they plan to attend.

2. Youth Extracurricular Scholarship
This scholarship is for Goldbelt shareholders aged 3 to 12th grade to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports teams, training camps, tutoring, performing arts, or music camps.

3. Level-Up Vocational Scholarship

Training programs that qualify for funding include professional and academic certificates or vocational training courses (e.g., CDL, electrical apprentice training, or accounting certificates).

4. Non-Degree Enrichment Scholarship

It is designed for shareholders who are not enrolled in degree-seeking certificate or vocational programs and can be applied to cultural or skill development classes.

Goldbelt Internship Program
1. What is the Goldbelt Internship Program?
The Goldbelt Internship Program offers shareholders and their descendants an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in various industries. The program is designed to provide career development, networking, and exposure to Alaska Native culture through a 10-week summer internship.
2. Who is eligible for the internship program?
To qualify for the Goldbelt Internship Program, you must:

Be a voting shareholder of Goldbelt, Inc., or a lineal descendant of a voting shareholder

Be attending an accredited university as a full-time student, or have graduated from an accredited university within the past six months

Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
3. What is the internship duration and compensation?

The internship lasts 10 weeks during the summer.

Interns receive a starting wage of $22 per hour.

Housing and travel stipends may be provided.
