On Friday, November 15, President and CEO McHugh Pierre hosted a shareholder livestream. Over 157 shareholders attended and engaged in the discussion via live chat on MyGoldbelt. The event kicked off with McHugh thanking military veterans and reaffirming Goldbelt’s commitment to hiring and retaining veterans.
The livestream included several exciting announcements and updates, including:
- $5 million contribution to the Goldbelt Tináa Distributions Trust for a fall distribution of $17.16 per share on November 26
- Five-year projected dividend payout of more than $12,200 for shareholders with 100 shares
- An updated 2024 revenue projection of $500 million with $30 million in net income
- Strong growth in federal contracting, with updates on Goldbelt’s 8(a) companies
- Progress on the Ancestral Trust and future benefits
- A 50th-anniversary recap celebrating Goldbelt’s milestones
- Recognition of 16 Goldbelt companies for their efforts in hiring veterans
- A celebration of Native American Heritage Month and Goldbelt’s ongoing initiatives
McHugh Pierre also shared exciting news about partnerships with Royal Caribbean Group to co-develop a new port and Starlink’s arrival in downtown Juneau, enhancing internet connectivity. He emphasized that “We are not going to let that momentum slide” as Goldbelt continues to expand and strengthen its operations.
During the Q&A session, the Juneau Valley experienced a power outage, causing the corporate office to lose internet connectivity. Without missing a beat, CEO and President McHugh Pierre logged back into the live stream on his phone and continued to answer all of the pre-loaded shareholder questions.
